Travis is a true martial artist. I have been training a long time. With that being said, it's rare to see someone successful in competition as well as being a competent instructor. You will not be disappointed in giving this place a shot.
The best decision I made when I moved to the North Shore. The level of BJJ is unmatched and the atmosphere is one of intense training but all egos are checked at the door. All of the instructors are highly skilled and capable of breaking down the moves so all are able to learn.
Classes are technical and intense but fun maybe challenging and rewarding more than "fun" but I always leave the gym feeling better than when I arrived.

Common questions people ask us about the gym!
Do you have to sign a contract if you become a member?
No, all members at Travis Stevens Jiu Jitsu Academy are month-to-month and can be canceled at any time.
Are there classes for beginners?
Yes, we currently have classes for people just getting started out Monday-Thursday 6:00pm-6:45pm.
Do you have NOGI Classes?
Yes, but they are at our sister location FUJI Martial Arts Woburn. Those classes are still taught by Travis Stevens From 6pm-7pm Tuesday & Thursday.
Do you have classes in the afternoon?
Not at the moment. But our partner location FUJI Martial Arts in Woburn has classes in the afternoon, and all members of Travis Stevens Jiu Jitsu Academy gain access to classes at both locations.
How long does it take to get a blue belt?
It's different for everyone. We all have different starting points. But our goal as an academy is to get everyone their blue belt in less than 2 years. With solid attendance it could be half that.
